However, when Wes and Rui (the heroes of Pokemon Colosseum) defeated Evice, Wes snagged the White Tyrant, purified it, and released it into the wild so that it might experience freedom again. During the Exile's War, Giratina transformed White back into a Shadow Pokemon and made him one of his lieutenant generals.
